**About the role**

As part of the Marketing Team, you’ll be playing a huge part in our continued growth and ownership of our luxe for less positioning.

You will create, drive and execute our Public Relations, events and partnerships strategy alongside the GM of Marketing.

The role is best suited to someone who has demonstrated experience across both traditional and digital PR/Publicity. Key to this role is having existing, strong relationships with media within the beauty, fashion and lifestyle industries.

This role is also responsible for ideation and execution of compelling, engaging and effective communications. You will be researching and generating relevant, sophisticated and interesting content trends that align with consumers and the overall business strategy.

This role will see you supporting the full spectrum of the MCoBeauty and ModelCo brands with the main objectives of this role being to raise awareness and consideration of the MCoBeauty and ModelCo brands in **Australia and New Zealand**.

Reporting into the GM of Marketing you will be responsible for a range of traditional and digital media and PR activity, eventing and partnerships including:

- Driving brand love & exposure via seeding / send out strategy
- Strategising & managing send outs for product push’s plus trend-led moments
- Developing and implementing PR strategies.
- Liaising with and maintaining positive relationships with media partners.
- Researching and writing press releases.
- Support with the development of campaigns.
- Identify influencers and bloggers to work with the brand.
- Writing media plans, drafting press releases, organising media events, liaising with internal stakeholders for reviews and insights
- Drive brand love via events identifying existing moments / events the brand should be present (based on brand values / positioning)
- Creating smaller branded events to build brand love for key tribes / communities.
- Input into content creation moments and events
- Drive partnerships to deliver on brand KPI’s
- Deliver clear monthly reporting
- 5+ years minimum experience, either in-house or agency
- Have beauty experience and media contacts and have an understanding of the Australian and New Zealand media landscape
- A passion for the beauty industry and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong existing network within the media, influencer / creator and KOL community
- Be confident in both traditional and digital communications activities and have excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to strategically build brand love within the media space
- Know media in all its forms - is across the media landscape, follows social media trends and is confident at creating compelling content
- Strong project management skills & ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Be Commercially minded - having worked in PR roles that have driven a business outcome by achieving or exceeding targets, and is familiar with tracking media performance.
- Be our brand voice, have an eye for detail, is a brand guardian, and appreciates the power of storytelling to drive engagement

This is a full time role, with head office being based in Rosebery, Sydney NSW.
