We're looking for a dynamic and resident focussed Village Manager with exceptional leadership. operational, and financial management skills, who is passionate about fostering community connections and delivering outstanding service.

**Some of the ways you'll make a difference**:

- Build lasting, inclusive relationships with residents, ensuring their voices are heard and their village home experience is exceptional.
- Oversee day-to-day village operations, balancing management duties with hands-on engagement to create a welcoming and supportive community.
- Assist to drive sales, complete home reinstatements and maintain occupancy levels, collaborating with the Sales Manager to achieve commercial goals.
- Deliver a high standard of resident-focussed service, fostering participation in activities and ensuring residents feel connected and valued.
- Lead and coach the on-site team to excel in customer service and operational excellence.
- Ensure the financial stability of the village by preparing budgets, managing costs, and providing transparent financial statements.
- Maintain compliance with the Retirement Villages Act and relevant reforms, while adhering to the Retirement Living Code of Conduct.
- Manage resident concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring resolutions align with policy and legislative standards.
- Oversee maintenance and presentation of village infrastructure, meeting and exceeding resident expectations
- Work collaboratively with the newly acquired co-located aged care facility to support a continuum of care.
- Promote home care support services to residents and help grow our wellbeing initiative.
- Work alongside the external Owners Corporation Manager to ensure shared spaces and common property are well maintained and managed.

**To help you achieve this, ideally you will have**:

- A proven track record in operational management, with strong experience in retirement living viewed favourably. Experience managing assets in other sectors will also be considered.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget preparation and cost management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and build high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the maturity to interact with residents with empathy and respect.
- Commercial acumen and sales experience, with a focus on maintaining occupancy and fostering a positive reputation.
- A strong understanding of the Retirement Living Code of Conduct, the Retirement Villages Act and associated regulations.
- Resilience, professionalism, and a commitment to creating a sense of community within the village.
