We are looking for a Principal Planning Officer to join the Archival Business Operations team in this important role.
You will be an integral part of a small team and work with a range of internal and external stakeholders providing strategic advice and support relating to the planning functions at QSA.

**In this role you will**:

- Undertake high-level research and analysis to formulate solutions that support the Department's planning and reporting framework
- Develop and implement projects and initiatives to ensure QSA meets its planning responsibilities
- Support QSA's Leadership Team by ensuring that the planning function aligns to QSA's strategic and operational priorities and activities
- Develop QSA's strategic planning, business planning and operational plan
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve organisational risk management and business continuity planning that align with the Department's Risk and Business Continuity processes
- Develop and maintain a Workforce Plan aligned to the QSA Strategic Plan to achieve whole of business improvements which generate organisational capacity
- Research and prepare complex reports, ministerial correspondence, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence on a range of corporate issues and represent QSA on committee and working groups as required
- Liaise with departmental contacts to ensure consistent practice and maintenance of professional knowledge.
