**Ke**_y requirements:_**
- Process purchase orders for the acquisition of services as required.
- Assist in the planning and formation of low to medium risk IT project and operational contracts to ensure compliance with relevant State Government and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consult with staff and provide support and advice as required.
- Ensure all procurement documentation complies with State Government and Departmental policies.
- Prepares and collates information for statistical and management reports as directed by the Manager Project Procurement.
- Assist in the development of tools and templates such as check lists to ensure compliance with policies and procedures including internal controls.
- Verify invoicing to contract terms and conditions.
- Assist in coordinating and responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain filing system, manuals and office records in line with Departmental policies.
- Serve on forums, committees and working groups, as required.

**_ Experience required: _**
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management.
- Well-developed written communication and interpersonal skills, including the preparation of procurement and technical documents.
- Ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
- Good level of conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and highlight key issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment to achieve goals and objectives.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads to agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrated experience with financial processes including accounts payable.
