Our Client Woodside a Global Oil & Gas major Operator in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Contracts & Procurement Adviser
- Digital to join them for 2 year contract.

There are 10 people in the digital C&P team, focusing mostly in the pre-award space from contracting plans, to sourcing approach, evaluation, selection, approvals and award.

The key area for this space is our Digital Integration Group, who are accountable for the digital contracts of the merger between BHP and Woodside. We have multiple existing (and clashing) software licencing agreements which the team are working through with a fine tooth comb, to find the best pathway forward as a larger organisation.

**Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Lead and drive commercial and contracting outcomes for the Digital portfolio.
- Negotiating Contract Terms & Conditions with large vendors in the Information, Communication and Technology space.
- Prepare Category Strategies, Contracting Plans, Authority for Contract Execution, Tender Evaluation Plans, Contract Variations, and other approval documents associated with the contracting lifecycle.
- Ensure synergies across projects are identified to deliver maximum value.
- Identify and pursue commercial and cost saving opportunities within the portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate representation and support in commercial matters.

The team are looking for someone who is keen to get hands-on and work across a variety of challenging projects. This role is known for its complexity and diversity, and therefore requires someone who is highly competent, adaptable, and a problem solver.
- Tertiary Qualification at Bachelor level or above.
- Must have some Digital / ICT experience.
- Demonstrated 5+ years' experience in Contracting & Procurement within a large organisation, preferably in the natural resources sector.
- Sound decision making skills in the presence of uncertainty, and ability to balance various business dimensions including scheduling and cost.
- Ability to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders with strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- An understanding of paralegal matters including contract drafting, management and deciphering implications.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts at once.
- A Masters of Charted Institute of Purchasing & Supply is desirable but not essential.
