An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide leadership in the After Hours Hospital Coordinator role at a private hospital in Hobart. It's a permanent part-time position.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As an After Hours Hospital Coordinator, your responsibilities will include supervising safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards, supporting and liaising with the Nurse Unit Managers, ensuring all areas are staffed appropriately and cost-efficient, managing patient flow, coordinating and planning operational processes, working within the budget direction of the hospital, coordinating patient admissions, supporting the hospital's commitment to quality improvement and achievement of National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards, maintaining the safety of staff, patients and visitors.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staff;
- Recent management experience at Nurse Unit Manager or Hospital Coordinator level or higher;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate resources appropriately;
- A high degree of computer literacy, including MS Office;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
- People leadership skills, including mentorship and coaching of team members;
- Completion or working towards a post-graduate qualification in management (desirable);

The hospital, located in Hobart, is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds providing a unique range of acute services, including general surgery, specialty care in orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, breast, colorectal, oral, vascular, plastics, obesity surgery, and select surgery for paediatrics.
