**As the Health Information Manager, your responsibilities will include**:

- Engage in case mix analysis, education, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall performance.
- Lead clinical documentation improvement efforts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the timely extraction and submission of mandatory data reports, ensuring compliance and precision.
- Contribute to the development and management of form rationalisation and the digitisation of medical records for streamlined operations.
- Participate in audits as required to uphold standards and best practices.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical coding to maintain high-quality data integrity.

**Essential Criteria**:

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Information Management (or equivalent qualification).
- Eligible for membership with the Health Information Management Association of Australia.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of inspiring and driving team success to achieve outstanding performance.
- Extensive experience in clinical coding, with a deep knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS standards.
- Expertise in using Codefinder and Turbocoder to ensure precise and efficient coding practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in extracting and submitting data to external entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Knowledge of private sector funding models in Australia
- Knowledge of WebPAS patient information system
