SugarCRM is looking for a talented, energetic and driven individual to join our team as Business Development Representative (BDR) in Sydney. Supporting the APAC sales team, you are responsible for being the first point of contact for potential clients and sparking interest in SugarCRM.

**This role is expected to be in-office (Sydney location) 2x per week**

**Impact you will make in the role**:

- Manage lead development for APAC
- Research accounts to understand need, enable effective follow-up, and generate interest
- Detailed qualification of inbound marketing leads
- Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
- Builds relationships and effectively communicates with territory sales team and management
- Stay current on the SugarCRM products and solutions
- Actively look for opportunities to improve, optimize lead management
- Record information and maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system

**Expertise you will bring in**:

- 1+ year experience with value-based selling, working against a quota, required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, determined, and results-oriented
- Comfortable working with a very high throughput of leads and data flow
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and a self-starter
- Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria
- Able to be in-office 2x per week

**Highly Qualified Experience**:

- Previous experience using SalesLoft (or similar sales cadence tools), LinkedIn Sales Navigator and/or web chat tools

Expected total target compensation range: salary plus commission based on ARR sales, depending on experience
