**Your Impact**

As a Trades Manager with Asahi Beverages working at Carlton & United Breweries iconic Abbotsford site, you will play a pivotal role leading the trades workforce (mechanical and electrical), including being responsible for the creation, implementation, and embedding of processes and routines as per enterprise agreements and embedding the Asahi ways of working within the team. A key aspect of this role will see you fostering a culture with a strong focus on safety and the Asahi values of Respect, Integrity, Courage, Accountability and Passion.

**Key Responsibilities Include**
- Managing a team of up to 50 direct and indirect reports, facilitating group and 1on1 conversations with the team to drive engagement.
- Facilitating effective team dynamics both internally within trades and externally with all stakeholders
- Develop and drive implementation plans to progress maturity in Asahi Way principles and practices for maintenance pillar.
- Ensuring that the team is equipped to do their job to the best of their ability through ensuring availability of all processes and tools
- Fostering a strong safety culture within the team.
- Ensure relevant licences & training are up to date
- Liaising with 3rd party providers where necessary for additional coverage.
- Management of apprentices & their training programme.
- Development and delivery of training, coaching and mentoring to upskill our current workforce
- Ensuring that trades staff execute the maintenance plan to the required standard.

**About You**
- You have a natural ability to lead and influence others
- You are proactive in your approach to work with an ability to navigate change
- You remain calm and composed under pressure and can influence others to be the same
- You have a strong background in management, 5+ years of experience within an industrial environment
- You are an excellent communicator (verbal & written) - able to confidently articulate verbal communication with a broad spectrum of stakeholders
- You have excellent problem-solving skills - you can identify issues and make rapid and appropriate decisions to mitigate appropriately
- You possess well developed project management capability - taking responsibility for effective implementation and delivery
