**About the role**:
We are seeking an individual to join our team based in our Hawkesbury Veteran and Family Hub (currently based in Windsor) in a newly created position, an **Engagement & Community Officer**. In this role, you will be an integral member of the team supporting current and former Defence personnel and their families.

This is a varied customer facing role, responsible for a range of initiatives including Event Management, Marketing & Social Media, Community Service liaison and being €œthe face€
- of the Hub. A true advocate for our client base, you will be genuinely invested in supporting current and former ADF personnel and have a kind and empathetic nature.

**A bit about you**:

- Ability to establish and build meaningful relationships internally and externally
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Event Management, Social Media & Marketing, Community and/or Welfare Services
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to prioritise, manage and problem solve
- Knowledge of or experience working with Australian Defence Force personnel
- Cert IV in Community Services an advantage
