Vault Cloud is seeking a talented and experienced **SOC Manager** to join our dynamic Operations Team. As a SOC Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the protection of our assets, managing Cyber incidents, and driving the overall security of our cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

- Take charge as the operational SOC Manager overseeing the protection of classified technology and cloud infrastructures - strengthening Australia's cyber defence. This role is business hours only although the SOC is 24/7
- Coach and mentor your team, fostering a culture of vigilance and fostering the skills necessary to combat ever-evolving cyber threats.
- Be a key stakeholder in development of our security architecture and have the ability to influence key design decisions
- Develop SOPS, Playbooks and Policies to support the role
- Be pivotal in supporting the maturation of Vulnerability Management, Intel and Threat Hunt capabilities
- Be hands-on in the early days moving towards a management role as the team is expanded.
- Influence the team and the capability to become an industry leader

- NV2 Clearance Expertise in Cyber Security operations
- Working knowledge of how public clouds work and their unique cybersecurity challenges
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands on experience with Incident Response
- Hands on experience with operating at PROTECTED and SECRET classifications
- Hands on experience with tools such as Elastic and Security Onion
