**The Opportunity**
Are you an experienced in RTO Administration and looking for a new opportunity in an exciting industry? We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a part time capacity as a Training Coordinator. This can be across 3 full days or 4 school hours days (this could grow into a full time role).
Your role as a Training Coordinator, will be pivotal, as you will be ensuring the administration of all student data is completed accurately and in a timely manner as well as keeping the training team on track.
This will mean you are responsible for the day-to-day activities of processing student enrolments, data entry, uploading documents, supporting our apprentice jockeys to keep on track with their deadlines. We also need you to be able to complete key activities and functions of apprentice transitions, reporting and operational support. You will be required to think on your feet, work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will report direct to the Racing Training Manager.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Processing documents and evidence for vocational training
- Maintaining relationship with Registered Training Organisations (RTO) including but not limited to coordinating student enrolment process (eg: tuition fees, federal government apprenticeship/traineeship contracts), providing reporting on student progress, completions and withdrawals where required, and submit all relevant accredited training documentation
- Complete training contracts and access federal government apprenticeship/traineeship funding
- Ability to develop and coordinate training schedules to ensure apprentices are working within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain records of training department and RTO
- Supporting the Apprentices and Jockey Coaches as required
- Undertaking annual renewal processes for jockeys and harness drivers
- Processing invoices, accounts and basic HR functions
- Supporting the Training Team with various tasks and general administration duties as required
- Travel as required
**About You**
**_ To be successful in this position you will need to possess:_**
- Experience in vocational training and understanding the Standards for RTOs 2015 including packaging rules
- Demonstrated knowledge of local, state and federal traineeship and apprenticeship program initiatives and systems including user choice funding
- Experience using Vettrak (preferred)
- Experience with DTWD contracts and reporting
- Previous Administration Experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel & Outlook
- Proactive and able to use initiative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Hold or working towards relevant Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- C Class Drivers License
- Working with Childrens Check or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
