We are currently recruiting for an experienced Product Manager to join our Shimano Australia Fishing division on a permanent full-time basis.

The primary duties will include but are not limited to;
- Maintain relationships and processes with manufacturers and Shimano Incorporated (SIC) to ensure compliance with Shimano vendor systems.
- Manage all aspects of Product life cycle from market research to product inception to fulfill market needs and overall business objectives.
- Maintain product spec
- Manage the sample process and report to SIC Planning and
- Design and develop new ranges with market trends and needs in mind to meet the

market.
- Monitor and report on stock levels and inventory to ensure company targets and metrics are met.
- Report and suggest exit strategy for end-of-life
- Manage pricing of products to ensure they meet the market
- Research and Identify trends in the market and propose proactive product
- Work to increase market share in all categories
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Be highly proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- High levels of commercial and numeracy skills
- Analytically minded
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Pronto ERP
- Strong fishing / industry knowledge (preferred)
- Experience with Soft Goods & Apparel (preferred)
