**_About the role_**
This role is accountable for coordinating the operations within the Southeast region (VIC, NSW & SA), actively supporting the sales commercial processes. Whilst assisting the Regional Manager with strategic planning you will have responsibility for Projects and works within the region, providing support to project and technical managers, maintaining client relationships, and leading in all aspects of management.
**_Duties will include but not limited to_**
- Champion health and safety throughout the Area and follow all relevant HSE procedures including incident reporting and investigation
- Lead team to deliver reliable, consistent and on time services to clients and employees
- Assist the Regional Manager with strategic planning and budget processes for the defined area
- Responsible for the Profit & Loss for the project/works for the defined area
- Report monthly to the Regional Manager against pre-set Key Performance Indicators
- Implement client strategic plans and specific actions to support ongoing work
- Maintain awareness of market developments in Area/for the client
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Contract Resources and client representatives
- Provide support to Project and Technical Managers
- Review and assist in tendering processes in consultation with Technical Services Managers
- Ensure operational excellence in all aspects of the work (from sales to execution to invoice)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
**_About you_**
- 5+ years of experience in a similar management role
- Building and managing a strong performance culture and effective team
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry and or similar industry
- Experience leading and supporting Health & Safety Programs and HSE strategies for the region, driving a focus on Health & Safety at all levels.
- A strong coordination background and experience in managing conflicting and dynamic priorities
- Experience meeting budgets and proactively taking actions to address projected shortfalls
