**About the Role**

The Contract Manager is part of a dynamic team within the Contracts and Procurement Department and is responsible to provide strategic and operational management and leadership pertaining to the contracts. Working alongside the Manager Procurement and Legal Services, the Contract Manager will be accountable for providing advice and input into the development of the contracts.

**Functional Accountabilities include**:

- Provide leadership and direction in contract management
- Prepare advice and development of contract management that identify strategic risks
- Regularly review the contracts and provide advice that promote improvements

**About You**

***The successful applicant will have:

- CIPSA certification for procurement or equivalent
- Strong MS suite skills
- Knowledge in strategic sourcing, excellent influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to plan, manage and implement complex sourcing and contract management
