As head contractor for Defence in the QLD/SNSW region, we deliver estate upkeep and estate appraisal services. These services include Performance Based Maintenance, Scheduled Maintenance, Responsive Maintenance, Minor New Works and Estate Appraisal.

We currently have an opportunity for an **Estate Management of Services (EMOS) Operations Manager** to join our team, supporting the EU Service Delivery Manager in overseeing the operational implementation of maintenance services. This this role you’ll be primarily responsible for managing preventative and reactive maintenance for estate upkeep on defence sites.

**What you’ll do**

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

- Oversee and assist the service leads in the delivery of services including but not limited to Estate Upkeep, Land Management, Sports and Recreation Services, Transport Services.
- Ensure that service delivery is coordinated with other Base Services Contractors, including MSPs, to ensure that all Base Services delivered on are managed in an integrated manner.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and ensure the appropriate allocation of resources to achieve business objectives
- Oversee budget expenditure and advise team members on financial, technical, and operational matters
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders, including MSPs and other Defence contractors
- Provide expert advise on estate maintenance and management

**What you’ll bring**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or a role with transferrable capabilities, delivering high quality facilities management outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field such as Management, Business or Commerce desired but not essential
- Proven track record in managing large, complex service delivery contract.
- Previous experience in Defence or Defence related fields of benefit.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship Mandatory)
