**What is the Role?**

The School is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, experienced secondary school educator to join our committed and professional staff as the Head of Department, Christian Development. This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing Term 4, 2025.

**Who will the successful applicant be?**
- Experienced, with recent engagement, as a secondary school educator in teaching Christian Development Years 7-12 and Stage 6 Studies of Religion
- Theologically qualified at a Diploma level or higher
- Flexible in working with a range of student abilities
- Experienced in leadership in curriculum development and implementation of new syllabuses
- Highly developed in communication and collaboration skills
- Outstanding in interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the Christian Development/Chaplaincy team
- Confident in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance learning in the classroom
- Understanding of and having a commitment to the School’s Christian mission, values, and ethos

Previous experience teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) is highly desirable.
