Our NFP client is looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join their team, offering either a 6mth Fixed Term Contract or Permanent role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure accurate data entry and administrative support.
- Manage reporting and analytics to meet stakeholder needs.
- Refine and implement digital strategies for data solutions.
- Foster innovation and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and cybersecurity.
- Administer the iMIS database and perform backups/restores.
- Develop strong communication with members and volunteers.
- Handle online membership and event payments.
- Be the contact point for computer issue
- Liaise with external consultant to ensure the efficient use of the Database
Desirable:
- Have worked on membership databases
- Have used iMIS database before
To be successful in this role, you will have worked in a similar position with a focus on databases and reporting. Previous experience working in the NFP or Fund raising and or Membership industry sector would be desirable but not essential, and a relevant tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent would be advantageous. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and you must be an effective listener. You must have excellent time management and organisation skills, and have the ability to work under pressure, and meet demanding deadlines. You must want to work in a team environment and be a driven individual.
