**Your day as an**Advisor Strategic Communications**

As an Advisor, Strategic Communications at NSW Treasury, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the broader communications team within NSW Treasury. Your day-to-day will involve:

- Coordinating, researching, writing, and assisting with the production of content for key internal communications channels, including e-newsletters, intranet articles, videos, and more.
- Supporting the development and delivery of communications strategies for topics such as diversity and inclusion, staff awards, all-staff surveys, and other organisational priorities.
- Assisting with the project management and delivery of key internal staff events (both in-person and virtual).
- Acting as a business partner to branches and divisions to support the creation, implementation, and measurement of internal communications campaigns.
- Managing and maintaining content on the Treasury intranet, ensuring consistency, relevancy, and timeliness.
- Partnering with the wider communications team to deliver on key business priorities.

**What you can bring to the role**

In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, or a related area and/or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience in internal or external communications, with strong written and verbal skills and an open communication style.
- Intermediate camera and video editing skills.
- Experience in coordination or project management, with attention to detail and excellent planning and organisation skills.
