Position Details
As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint a passionate and detail-oriented **Compliance Supervisor** to join our Laverton team and champion our food safety and compliance standards.

**About the Role**

As Compliance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in protecting and growing our meat industry certifications and export programs (including Halal, CIFER, Mycor and market eligibility validations). You'll oversee quality systems, support internal and external audits and ensure our operations not only meet but exceed industry and regulatory standards.

Additionally, you'll also engage and educate our operational teams, building a strong compliance culture across the site.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Safeguarding our AA certifications and export licenses through proactive auditing and staff training.
- Maintaining and improving Food Safety systems aligned with legislative, customer and industry standards.
- Conducting internal audits and preparing the site for external audits by regulatory authorities and customers.
- Supporting the development and delivery of educational programs to drive operational excellence.
- Maintaining compliance with HACCP, FSANZ, Approved Arrangements and other relevant legislation.
- Completing and managing export meat documentation (e.g., RFP, MTC) and uphold Halal certification requirements.
- Working closely with Site Leaders, Operations teams and Corporate stakeholders to ensure food safety and quality initiatives are fully integrated into day-to-day operations.

**Key experience required**:

- Solid understanding of food safety, compliance and quality systems.
- Experience identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Knowledge of HACCP and a strong passion for quality management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic compliance systems.

**Preferred**:

- Formal qualifications in auditing (ISO9001:2015) or related disciplines.
- Experience working within meat processing, abattoirs, or export/import meat products industries.
- Background in GFSI Schemes (BRC, SQF, FSSC 22000, etc.).
- Knowledge of Halal certification and export market standards.
