Responsibilities will be:

- Overseeing all aspects of the plant’s operations, including production, maintenance, safety and quality control.
- Developing and implementing strategies to optimize plant efficiency and increase productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Maintaining an effective team communication.
- Training and managing staff members, ensuring a high level of productivity and employee engagement.
- Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Continuously improving processes and procedures to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
- Loading and unloading trucks, when needed.

Criteria
- Experience in the recycling industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team of employees.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
- The ability to manage a high workload.
- Proven ability to problem solve.
- The ability to delegate task and responsibilities.
- A sound understanding of machinery.
- A forklift license.

**Salary**: From $59,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oakleigh South, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Recycling: 1 year (required)
- Supervising: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
