**Role Description/Criteria**

St. Richard's Kilsyth Primary School is seeking a qualified Learning Support Officer.

The successful applicant will:

- assist students either individually or in a group
- provide physical, social and emotional care for students
- attend program support group (PSG) meetings with the Learning Diversity Leader, teachers and parents
- liaise regularly with teaching staff with regard to student needs
- report to the Learning Diversity Leader on a regular basis
- have a Working with Children's Check.

This is a part-time position of approximately 18 hours (6 hours x 3 days).

St Richard's school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.

Qualifications and experience in a primary school setting would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
