Salary Range: $118,220 -$129,820 + Attractive Superannuation

The Assistant Director - Web-based Forums leads the implementation of the Enhancing Digital Mental Health Capabilities measure. Working to the Director Lived Experience and Community Strategy, this position requires a senior professional leading a small team in the delivery of a range of projects, with responsibility for budget and staff management, initiative development, implementation and evaluation, contracts, relationship and change management.

**Duties**

In accordance with the principles of workplace diversity, Work Health and Safety, participative work practices, APS values and APS Employment Principles:

- Coordinate all aspects enabling implementation of the Enhancing Digital Mental Health Capabilities measure, interpreting and operationalising intent and joining up with relevant data to manage innovative solutions, demonstrating outcomes and impact.
- Lead procurement and contract management activities, taking an evidence-informed approach to identifying provider solutions to delivering against the measures strategic intent.
- Oversee and contribute to the development of advice, briefings, papers, submission and correspondence.
- Provide supervision, mentoring and coaching for direct reports to effectively manage performance and encourage professional growth.
- Support an environment that encourages a willingness to adopt participative work place practices in line with policies of WHS, Workplace Diversity and the Australian Public Service values, Employment Principles and the APS Code of Conduct.

**Notes**

A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions within the next 18 months.

Non-ongoing will be offered for a period of 18 months with the possibility of extension.
