The role of the Rehabilitation Program and Project Manager is to assist with the design, development, management, and implementation of the Rehabilitation Program Enhanced Single Operating Model (SOM+) project, along with oversee, lead and manage program related responsibilities with the Rehabilitation Program section. The SOM+ Project is an initiative which aims to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and efficacy in the way that rehabilitation services are being provided to DVA clients. The Program space is responsible for and manages budget reporting, Program Performance Indicator (PPI) reporting, program communications, client satisfaction survey, internal program reviews, along with identifying and supporting other program efficiencies as required.

This position works in a fast-paced environment and requires the capacity to think strategically, identify opportunities and prioritise effort and therefore requires high levels of organisational skills, self-drive and initiative.

**Duties**
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing complex technical and research projects, including project governance and assurance.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing program responsibilities, including data and reporting (budget and performance).
- Relevant technical experience/understanding of rehabilitation services, or the ability to quickly acquire.
- Awareness of the DVA broader strategic environment and ability to undertake strategic planning, including identifying, establishing and implementing change activities.
- Provides professional leadership, mentoring and guidance to staff.
- Assist the Rehabilitation Program Section Director and other section staff as required.
