My Client, a Federal Government department, is looking to appoint an EL1 Assistant Director Transition Communications and Engagement to join their busy department.
**Your new role**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join an established team and take on the important role of Team Leader - Communications and Engagement. As a key member of the team, you will have the authority to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you have experience in:
- Contributing to the strategic direction of projects and business improvement initiatives, driving the strategic and coordinated management of targeted communications and engagement activities.
- Leading staff to deliver timely, innovative, efficient, and evidence-based communications and engagement strategies, plans, content, and activities that support the Department’s Corporate Plan and project objectives.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders within the Department, guiding the team with best practice ways to provide advice, quality assurance, and support to business areas to meet their communication objectives.
- Managing and optimizing internal and external communications and engagement channels to reach intended audiences.
- Utilising reporting metrics to review the impact of communication and engagement approaches, identifying areas of overlap and key gaps to continue to refine and improve plans and strategies.
- Identifying and mitigating reputational risks associated with communication, engagement, and project activities.
- Fostering creativity and innovation in content creation across a range of channels, sharing best practice and new skills in the team.
- Please note, you must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for this role.
