**About the role**:
The Operations Manager Customer Service, AgeWell Centres is a member of the home care leadership team across Tasmania and Victoria and will work in conjunction with the Director AgeWell Centres to lead the development and operational management of Intake for Allied Health Social Connection and Home and Garden Maintenance and Modifications with the aim of delivering those services to older people, their families and allies living in the community.

This position will have management of Intake services that support Allied Health Social Connection and Home and Garden Maintenance and Modifications programs across Melbourne Metropolitan Regions where AgeWell Centres operate.
- Provide leadership and effectively manage program operations to ensure provision of customer focused high quality, viable and compliant services
- Lead and drive implementation of a customer service model that ensures a client receives an outcome at every touch point in their service journey
- Lead the service delivery for the Home and Garden Maintenance and Modifications team
- Lead and deliver intake services that align with all actions in the Uniting AgeWell Customer Charter Contributes to the delivery of programs that allow frail older people to achieve wellbeing goals to remain independent.
- Lead programs that meet Key Performance Indicators as laid out in CHSP funding agreement
- In partnership with the AgeWell Centres Leadership Team, development and implement a billable hours model of service for all programs

- Tertiary qualification in Management or related discipline and/or experience in operational management in a health or aged care organisation
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality and timely customer services when and where it is client needed
- Understanding of ‘My Aged Care’ and government funded services
- Experience working in an activity based and billable hours environment
- Experience in developing and implementing a central intake service in Home Care, or associated sectors
- Experience in working with and or introducing new processes and systems to support efficient and effective work
- Sound analytical and report writing skills
- Understanding and demonstrated ability to deliver programs that restore, improve or maintain a frail older person’s health, wellbeing and independence
- Experience and demonstrated expertise in setting, analyzing and delivering program Key Performance Outcomes whilst working within financial targets
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
