**The Opportunity**
The Ministerial and Executive Support Officer position is a great opportunity for a customer focused person to play a key role in delivering quality administrative and support services within the GS Operations Branch and Office of the Chief Operations Officer
You will be joining an extremely supportive and collaborative team in a fast paced, high-volume environment, assisting with the management, effective coordination and collation of information from various divisions and regions, relating to customer feedback, cases, enquiries and complaints via several customer interfaces and channels. This role also includes preparing high-quality responses to correspondence, briefing notes, Parliamentary, GIPA and Cabinet support services.
Some of your key duties of the role will include:
- Manage customer feedback, queries and complaints within the Greater Sydney Operations Office of the COO Salesforce queue. Triaging cases in Salesforce may also be required on occasion.
- Assist with the management of internal and external requests received via our Customer Relations mailbox and Office of the COO mailbox
- Liaise regularly with the Senior Ministerial and Executive Services Officer and Ministerial and Business Coordinator regarding customer cases, feedback and complaints
- Manage Ministerial, Parliamentary and GIPA requests, allocating requests across the GS Operations branch, monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met and provide support to our key SMEs and Executive leaders.
- Coordinate and manage records, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies to ensure information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible
- Deliver administrative support and services to your work team often within tight timeframes maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

**About you**
You will have the ability to work independently and contribute effectively, in a collaborative team environment whilst maintaining a high level of work ethic.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The role will give you great exposure to working with our Senior Executives, so the ability to build rapport and develop strong stakeholder relations at Executive level, across multiple internal and external sources is essential. You will need to leverage these relationships to seek the appropriate advice and information required to inform your decisions
The role will require a degree of flexibility, dealing with multiple requests. This may at times involve working longer hours to meet the required deadlines. You will need to be able to pivot quickly, manage and prioritise your workload, whilst managing expectations, and being able to exercise discretion in handling sensitive issues.
The home location for this role is our Elizabeth Street office in the Sydney CBD, however Transport for NSW offers flexible working arrangements and supports a balance of office and work from home options.
