**How will you contribute?**

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to establish the Process Mining Capability within the Westpac Group and enable all business units to achieve their goals using this capability. You will work alongside pipeline teams, lean designers and business units to garner process insights and drive immediate value and enable delivery of breakthrough business transformation.

**Key accountabilities of the position are as follows**:

- Contribute to the establishment of Process Mining capability.
- Be the engagement point person for the projects.
- Create relationships and partner with key stakeholders in the Group Operations, Consumer, Wealth & Institutional Business, and Corporate Services.
- Create relationships with data teams in the Bank and establish an understanding of the data warehouses.
- Instill a deep understanding of the Bank’s data and process environment.
- Work with vendors to further innovate mining capabilities such as simulation, control optimisation and predictive mining.
- Understand the business context and drivers that contribute to successful performance. This includes understanding their needs, concerns and the environment that they operate in and how process engineering can support.
- Own and drive the development and embedment of data driven, intelligent process transformation across Westpac Group
- Collaborate directly with senior level executives, process owners and technical teams within each business unit to understand their goals, objectives and requirements and translate them into Process Mining technical requirements.
- Drive usage of process mining platforms by key stakeholders (transformation teams, lean designers, pipeline analysts & business unit team managers) to enable federated elicitation of insights.
- Produce training material and foster a community of champion users of the capabilities to unlock process transformation.
- Plan, schedule, and manage project timelines and activities from project kick-off through training to ensure each project is delivered on time and meets customer requirements.
- Enable extraction and transformation of data and load them into the Process Mining platform.
- Facilitate Design process and business unit-specific dashboards, analyses and reports.
- Present implementation results to senior level executives and other operation teams.
- Organise and lead workshops.

**What do I need?**
- 5+ years’ experience in a large and complex organisation, primarily in the financial services industry but open other large corporate domains.
- Experience in analysing, documenting and improving business processes.
- Data manipulation skills (e.g. SQL/Python/ETL).
- Proven experience with data analysis and visualisation tools and processes
- Familiarity with enterprise level processes, workflows and storytelling is essential.
- Experience in process analysis and improvement, with Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills with strong ability to explain solutions in person and in writing.
- Comfortable with delivering, managing, and coordinating multiple projects in parallel.
- Experience in agile ways of working as well as IT or business disciplines and methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines with competing demands.
