About the role
The Group Manager - Supply is responsible for proactively leading our supply and contract’s function; from the full procure to pay cycle, supply chain, vendor relationship management, contracts management and governance and administration required to ensure robust commercial and sustainable supply outcomes across Evolution. The role (and function) has a particular continuous improvement focus, including developing systems and processes that will mitigate risk in the supply chain and identify and reduce costs and assist achieving ESG outcomes through supply optimisation practices.
You and your team will build relationships and further develop the capability and competency of Supply professionals both in the Group office and at our operations, aligning, optimising, and standardising procurement, contract and supply procedures and practices across both the goods and services portfolio.
**Key result areas in this position also include**:
Manage group wide supply reporting, including inputs required for the annual Sustainability Report and Modern Slavery Statement, as well as preparing Board Papers and Leadership Team presentations for CFO as required.
Ensure all contracts are compliant for all procedures relating to tendering, contract evaluation and in contract administration, providing support to sites to assist in their supply obligations or negotiations.
Pro-actively identify cost saving opportunities and initiatives through the effective use of analysis and reporting tools including assessing inventory and warehouse practices for opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
Commit to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within your own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution
Demonstrate and live behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values (Safety, Accountability, Excellence, Respect).
About you
To succeed in this role, you will be a proven Supply Chain/Contracts Manager with appropriate leadership experience driving functional performance (ideally associated with the resources industry) with proven skills in understanding, analysing and further improving supply performance across multi-site operations. It is important that you have/ or can demonstrate:
Tertiary qualification; bachelor’s degree; or diploma in a related field; or appropriate certification with relevant experience in the Resources sector highly desirable.
Strong background of creating and implementing processes that increase supply related efficiencies across the organisation, leading negotiations, overseeing the drafting, and negotiating of both service and goods contracts.
Experience in leading and developing teams and driving performance, with well-developed analytical and influencing skills..
Diligence, good communicator, ability to quickly build a rapport to form working relationships, lateral thought, and openness to new approaches.
Strong analytical and report writing skills with solid communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to manage your energy and priorities.
