- Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
- $34 per hour

We have got an amazing opportunity for a seasoned Trade Information Officer to work with one of the leading companies of the industry. Commencing on mid of July, it will be 6 months contract initially. Reporting to the Service Support Lead, this position Is responsible for ensuring accurate processing and generation of revenue in accordance with organization's pricing policies.

Key duties include:

- Liaise with customers on all cargo and shipping related matters.
- Ensure the timeliness, completeness and accurate generation of cargo revenue and participation in all aspects of port manifest data processing, including verification and reconciliation with stevedoring outturn reports.
- Process containerised, non-containerised and/or miscellaneous cargo.
- Generate and verify the accuracy of charges in accordance with Fremantle Ports’ charging policies and procedures and release charges for invoicing.
- Coordinate and supervise the preparation of invoices relating to cargo and ship charges.
- Compile and analyse trade statistics.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly accruals and summaries for Finance.
- Liaise with cargo agents and stevedores to ensure that documents required by port regulations are received and accurately completed.

Technical, Professional and Specialist Skills:

- Working knowledge of shipping and wharf operation practices and documentation terminology (highly desirable).
- Knowledge of port/maritime operations (highly desirable).
- Good experience in the use of computerised systems.
- Strong customer relations and liaison skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Numeracy skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
