Temporary requirement for a Freedom of Information Officer in Karrakatta for a 1-month period starting ASAP

Our client is a State Government Department, located in Karrakatta.

**Your new role**

Working closely with the Senior Records Officer, you will be assisting the team with Freedom of Information requests.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

- Coordinate the administration of requests made under the Freedom of Information Act
- Record FOI requests
- Answer enquiries from internal & external stakeholders
- Ensure requests and responses are actioned following correct policy, procedures & guideline

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in Records management, particularly with the Freedom of Information Act
- The ability to assess requests inline with correct policy & procedure
- Must be organised and efficient
- Good written and verbal communication
- A current police clearance, dated within the past 3 months (or willing to obtain)
