**About the role**

Based in our harbourside offices at Redleaf Beach in Double Bay, we are offering an opportunity to take part in the transformation of our refreshed organisation, which is focused on growing, adapting and improving as we embark on our journey to create a culture of excellence.

We are looking for an inspirational leader for the role of Manager Information & Digital Transformation. This role is a key leadership position in the Corporate Performance Division. The Division is committed to supporting Council to meet the changing needs of our vibrant community, with the Division also encompassing People, Safety & Performance, Financial Services and Governance & Risk.

Some of your key accountabilities will be to:

- Lead Council’s ICT infrastructure improvement roadmap & digital transformation.
- Manage Council’s ICT Infrastructure & Digital Transformation Projects.
- Manage and develop a team of professionals. Provide guidance in the provision of effective, customer focused ICT operational solutions for the organisation. Plan and manage the resources of the team to achieve optimal results.
- Oversee the effective and efficient management of Council’s correspondence and corporate information processes.

You will contribute to the delivery of the organisational objectives through providing strong leadership, with a focus on collaboration and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience, both internally and externally.

You will be an energetic and high-achieving leader driven by a desire to lead the digital transformation process across Council, by fully integrating business and technology that will improve decision-making, the customer experience and by driving continuous improvement of both customer-facing and internal platforms.

The key to your success in this role will be your ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and in your ability to be able to deliver integrated solutions, which supports Council’s strategic objectives.

You will be a high achiever with:

- Experience in successfully leading major transformation programs in medium sized customer facing organisations.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, industry standards and best practices to deliver fit for purpose solutions.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology.
- Well-developed team leadership skills including ability to mentor and guide through adversity.
- Strategic planning skills, including the ability to translate plans into action, and get results. High level problem solving skills.
- Excellent customer service / client focus and collaborative skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and users.
- Project management skills, including being able to demonstrate an ability to lead, manage, monitor and review projects, and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and experience in leading initiatives that add value, improve and enhance services, processes and practices.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Knowledge of and experience in corporate governance and risk management, including budget preparation and financial control, work health safety and information management.
