**About the Role**

The Service Operations team is currently seeking a Service Delivery Manager to lead IT service desk, desktop support, and delivery functions ensuring top-tier technology support for our users. You will be instrumental in delivering quality customer-focused support services and enhancing our Service Desk Platform, while leading a dedicated team to provide exceptional service support. With a focus on delivering measurable service experiences, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our service operations, making a meaningful impact on our organisation and its users.

This integral role of the Service Delivery Manager embodies dedication as a people-focused leader, maintaining a holistic perspective that encompasses people, ongoing operations and future outlook. They excel in leading people through change and fostering maturity, prioritising people at the forefront. With strong coaching capabilities, they have demonstrated their ability to uplift capability and support teams, ensuring a balance between people-centric leadership and achieving service delivery excellence.

In this landscape of continual progression, IT service management is poised to mature in its framework and operating model. This presents an opportunity to enhance risk maturity through the identification and mitigation of service operations-related risks, and to improve frameworks, policies, tools, and practices to uplift capability and improved ways of working.
- Adeptly navigate a dynamic digital and enterprise environment, leading and guiding the service operations team through the process of evolution.
- Excel as a change leader, championing the review and adaptation of service operations strategies for enhanced delivery outcomes.
- Navigate within a bimodal environment, bridging traditional and cloud-based systems to ensure effective operations and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with digital technology and cross-functional teams, ensuring operational readiness and fostering innovation within the service delivery model, aligning efforts with broader organisational strategies, and leveraging emerging technologies.
