**Job Highlights**
- Reporting through to the Supply Support Manager, as the Logistics Support - Team Lead, you will be leading and managing the LMA logistics support team, tasking and participating in supportability assessments, spares analysis, including reviewing and managing UH60 stock holdings, ensuring the receipt, storage and distribution of aircraft equipment and system GSE support requirements for spares, tool and test equipment.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with DEFLOGMAN and ESCM
- Develop the Supply Support Constituent Capability through process development, provision of SME advice, guidance and execution
- Specific provision of services includes spares management, support for quotations, tracking of deep level maintenance repairs, calibration of Test Equipment and development of contracted reporting
- Coordinate the procurement of Site requirements, Breakdown Spares, Tooling, Hazardous Substances and Consumables through FMS and local supplier networks
- Regular liaison between customers, peers and management
- Undertake the management of LMA or Customer owned items Inventory Management Systems
- Undertake the procurement of technical consumables, PPE and Tooling
- Maintain and update relevant systems in relation to inventory, estimated delivery dates and prioritisation levels
- Ensure continuous improvement of logistics processes and procedures

**About you**:

- With proven Commonwealth Procurement experience, you will have excellent Inventory Management experience at a Defence District or Global level, and have a strong customer focus with outstanding communication skills. Ideally you will also hold tertiary qualifications from an accredited tertiary institution in Logistics, Repairable Item Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Asset Management.**To be successful in this role you will also have**:

- Extensive experience in Defence or similar logistics areas including inventory control, asset management, supply chain and procurement
- Extensive experience managing defence equipment using MILIS and other CoA management tools
- Significant ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs and priorities
- Extensive management experience within a Defence environment
- Outstanding knowledge of Defence Logistics governance Policies and procedures
- Extensive experience in Defence Procurement and supporting operations within the Defence aviation environment
- Significant Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program
- Excellent Commonwealth Procurement and Inventory Management experience

You will also ideally be proficient with MILIS Item Management, SAP, AIMS (Repairable &/or Consumable) and Workbench (Procurement).
