- As the Logistics Quality Assurance Officer, you will oversee the identification and investigation of issues that may adversely impact on AP quality controls. With responsibilities such as ensuring the technical Inspection of aeronautical product (AP) at point of receipt and dispatch is established for product and documentation integrity whilst maintaining data integrity of the CAMM2 database.

Following a recent announcement by the Australian Government to investigate the acquisition of UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government, Lockheed Martin Australia is looking to establish a core team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support the potential procurement and sustainment activities. The modern-day, 3rd Generation UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter is the world’s leading multi-role battlefield and special operations helicopter with a proven legacy of exceptional capability and reliability. **Your responsibilities will include**:
- Oversee Commonwealth Owned product IAW the requirements of the DEFLOGMAN Electronic Supply Chain Manual
- Ensure receipt and issue technical inspections of AP in accordance with delegated authorisation
- The required CAMM2 transactions for incoming and outgoing AP are conducted
- Coordinate and establish customer meetings as required
- Identify and evaluate process efficiencies and potential impacts to supportability of Authorised to Fit Products
- Review and evaluate Obsolescence Management by reporting on known issues and their status
- Coordinate and Liaise with LMA and Commonwealth technical SME’s
**About you**:
- With your excellent written and verbal communications, you will bring a strong understanding of the Defence Logistics Management System. Ideally you will also hold an Associate Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualifications and/or extensive equivalent experience and on the job training there-of.
**To be successful in this role you will also have**:
- Significant knowledge and experience in and understanding of Defence and/or Civilian Aviation Quality Assurance and Maintenance Management processes and Logistics systems including Supply Chain and Asset Management
- Unit Inspecting Officer qualification or competent ability to obtain this qualification
- Competency in using and understanding of CAMM2, MILIS and other electronic Defence and Civilian technical and logistic systems
- Aeronautical Product Receipting Officer Course
**Special Requirements**:
- Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to gain this.
The location of the role will be in Holsworthy, NSW.
There is an on-call component to this position.
