Program Leader Aquatic Operations

- Band 5 - $80,961.40 per annum + superannuation

The Program Leader Aquatic Operations reports to the Team Leader Aquatic Operations and is responsible for managing Lifeguards and Duty Managers, ensuring they are trained and qualified to perform the applicable duties of a Pool Lifeguard and Duty Manager at Reservoir Leisure Centre (RLC).The position must ensure that facilities and services conform to the Guidelines to Safe Pool Operation (GSPO), Health Regulations and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.

**About the Role**
- Accountable for the development, implementation and maintenance of emergency, safety and security procedures for the whole of the centre including coordinating annual evacuation training.
- Ensure Lifeguards and Duty Managers respond to incidents that occur within the aquatic environment; including completion of incident reports and escalate as required.
- Implement annual employee recruitment, selection, training, development and supervision.
- Ensure Duty Managers deliver a high standard of customer service and pool operations
- Ensure Lifeguards deliver a high standard of pool deck supervision to all patrons.

**Skills & Experience**
- Current Pool Lifeguard Award.
- Current Level 2 First Aid.
- Working With Children’s Check.
- Pool Operators Certificate (Willing to obtain)
- Relevant experience in leading a similar aquatic program in a leisure or aquatic facility.
