Trainer/assessor

**About the Role**

**Techie International College** is seeking passionate and experienced Trainers & Assessors to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. We are currently hiring for multiple positions across the following qualifications:

- Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
- Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction
- Diploma of Building and Construction

This is a fantastic opportunity for trade professionals who are ready to share their knowledge and contribute to developing the next generation of skilled workers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver high-quality, compliant training and assessment to domestic and/or international students
- Develop lesson plans, resources, and assessments that reflect current industry standards
- Provide guidance, support, and timely feedback to students
- Maintain accurate student records and adhere to RTO and ASQA requirements
- Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

**What We're Looking For**
- Relevant vocational qualification in one or more of the listed courses
- Minimum 3 years' industry experience in the relevant trade
- TAE40122 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Applicants must specify their proposed timeframe for obtaining TAE qualification if not currently held
- Strong understanding of competency-based training and VET compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Desirable**
- Experience training international students
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
