**About the Role**:
The purpose of the position is to develop and support property services strategy, governance, systems, and procedures to enable the achievement of strategic departmental outcomes and to provide advice and assistance to key stakeholders including the Director Property and Procurement Services.

This role will be playing a key part in re-drafting agreements form Crown Law and issue them to NGO who manages the disability accommodation.

The Property Services area is a small, specialised property and facilities management team which provides services to the Departments state-wide workforce and asset footprint.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and support property services asset management strategies, government frameworks and plans in line with strategic outcomes defined by the department and government.
- Provide high level strategic advice and analysis to senior management and departmental officers on strategic asset management issues with a focus on compliance, internal controls and risk management.
- Manage all aspects of the department’s SDA property portfolio, including the review and amendment of standard SDA agreements and templates and relevant quality and safeguard measures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust systems, policies and procedures, procurements and training to deliver effective property portfolio governance and oversight.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders including the National Disability Insurance Agency, Non-Government service providers, SDA participants’ representatives and other business units within the department.

**Key Criteria**:

- You have experience in the management of facilities and property services, including and contract management. Your experience will include extensive experience in planning, initiating, and implementing strategic asset management processes within a complex organisational environment.
- Experience in disability accommodation services would be highly desirable.
- You have experience in negotiating with non-government organisations in relation to contractual arrangements.
- High level communication, interpersonal, liaison and consultation skills
