**The Opportunity**

We’re in a unique position having invested heavily in our own dedicated delivery fleet. We have an incredible platform from which to test and learn, expand our service offering and truly innovate. This is your opportunity to be part of a market-disrupting logistics operation in a Transport Optimisation Analyst role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Allocate drivers to our Pet Circle vehicles to service both transactional and subscription customers in the most efficient and customer-focused way
- Route and allocate driver runs to ensure our customer expectations are met (balancing both our customer experience and fleet density goals)
- Liaise with our fulfilment team around the loading and unloading of vehicles, feeding back on unsuccessful deliveries
- Utilise your strong knowledge of local and rural delivery points to ensure the most effective planning and fleet efficiency
- Monitor the daily progress of deliveries and returns and troubleshoot problems in the case of any problems, deviations or delays
- Monitor and manage transport costs by initiating actions to increase revenue and reduce costs

**Your Experience**:

- Experience in supply chain, logistics, engineering, business analytics or a similar field
- Experience in professional supply chain and logistics or e-commerce experience is highly valued
- Fleet allocation / transport management experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to prepare, report and interpret data sets
- Professional communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Role Location and Availability**

As this role is critical to our logistics operation, it will be based onsite working from our Perth fulfilment center (Bibra Lake, 6163). The role is 5 days per week with two roster options:
(Option 1) Monday - Friday: 2x 12pm-8pm shifts, 3x 5am-1pm shifts

(Option 2) Wednesday - Sunday: 12pm-8pm shifts
