Glenroy, Australia Youth Projects Full time

**A bit about the role**:
As our Head of Growth & Partnerships you will be responsible for leading the coordination, identification and development of funding submissions that align to our strategic objectives. We are very much in a growth cycle, and we need you to help us continue to scale our services to meet the needs of more people across Victoria.

This includes preparing grants, tenders, proposals and creating new partnerships to support this. It will also include developing partnerships to evidence and evaluate our existing services, that will then aid you in working with the leadership team to scale up and extend our footprint.

The role will focus on scalable growth with a sustainable lens including building a pool of scalable programs to then float to funders, investors, and philanthropists. What you’ll do is lead the evaluation of our existing high impact model, partnering with professional services and internal leaders to get this done, then go to market and secure funding to help those most in need.

**Key Requirements**:

- Demonstrated success in bids, grants, proposals and or tenders
- You have amazing written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead partnerships for growth
- Highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and to change priorities as the need arises.
- Excellent communication skills

**A bit about you**:
Writing is your thing, bids, tenders and grants are your jam and engaging with people comes easy. You will be a plate spinner, the idea of leading scalable growth with a sustainable lens for Youth Projects while building partnerships and relationships to support this will excite you.

Building relationships come naturally to you, some might say you a conector. You see the ties between seemingly disconnected things and can connect the big picture to day to day.

You are a flexible, forward-thinking growth mindset professional. You understand community services and the role we play in improving the social and economic impact organisations have.

**A bit about us**:
We are an independent, registered charity providing front line support to young people and people experiencing homelessness to open up pathways out of poverty and homelessness - breaking the cycle of disadvantage. Our focus is on respect, client-centred care, and harm prevention so people can lead longer lives, have improved health, meaningful employment, and a greater sense of belonging, safety, and security through our holistic model of care.

This is (some) of what we got up to last year:

- Over 8,000 people accessed our services
- Welcomed 16,431 visits to The Living Room
- 80% of the young people we supported landed sustainable employment or education outcomes
- More than 150,000 coffees were sold through our social enterprise cafes with $73K profit re-directed into homelessness and youth services
- Experienced 130,000+ contacts through our harm minimisation programs
- You can read more in our Impact Report or you’ll find us right across Naarm/Melbourne with our main hubs located in Glenroy, Sunshine, Werribee, Melton and on Hosier Lane in the heart of the city.

**Why should you work with us?**

We’re a casual and flexible, yet professional and high energy workplace. We encourage flexibility for a healthy work/life balance and although we are very serious about our work, we are very chill when it comes time to wind down. Every day you spend working with us, you’re making a difference. Although they're pretty great perks, we don’t just stop therehere are some of the others:
