Business development executive role for a leading manufacturer and supplier of commercial machinery

Business Development Executive

90-120k + 15% super + Car allowance

Western Sydney

We are currently recruiting for a business development manger to be based in western Sydney, whilst the head office is in Glendenning you will be traveling throughout the western Sydney area.

Our client is an international leading manufacturer and supplier of commercial machinery in their field, they design and provide complete, sustainable, and innovative solutions to fit their clientele's needs. Reporting to the general manager you will become an integral member of the company's growth.

**About your new role**:

- As a business development manager, you will be servicing existing clients and acquiring new business to expand their reach in the Western Sydney area, key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:_
- Pursue new business opportunities via cold calling, prospecting, and other new business development activities
- Become conversant and knowledgeable on all existing and forthcoming equipment specifications, features, functions, benefits, unique selling points and commercial arguments
- Develop and monitor customer base, both new and existing whilst responding to enquiries within the guidelines established i.e., all enquiries to be contacted via phone or site visit within 2 hours
- Develop a business plan and forward budget regarding order intake
- Ensure that all equipment is effectively handed over to the customer and that operators have become inducted on its operation prior to them operating the equipment

**About you**:

- Proven experience in sales including the selling of capital equipment
- Previous exposure in selling financially based deals
- High level of communication and presentation skills
- Highest level of relationship building skill with an ability to formulate strategies
- Computer skills including the ability to work on multiple projects at once
