Business Development Executive | Western Sydney
Your Impact
Join Asahi Beverages as a Business Development Executive and take ownership of driving growth across our Away from Home channel. Based in the Western Sydney territory (Penrith through to Inner West), you will play a pivotal role in growing distribution, volume, profitability and brand experience across restaurants, cafés and small bars. This is a highly autonomous role where you'll combine new business acquisition with managing a journey-planned customer base, supported by a collaborative and tight-knit sales team.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver financial sales and execution targets through tailored service packages
- Acquire new business across the hospitality channel (approx. 20% new business / 80% account management)
- Drive category growth across draught beer, premium spirits, non-alc portfolio, and New Road coffee
- Build long-term customer relationships by understanding business drivers and identifying growth opportunities
- Conduct structured in-trade outlet surveys, evaluate performance and maximise ROI on initiatives
- Collaborate with peers and leaders through weekly virtual meetings and monthly field coaching in Sydney
- Ensure safety, compliance and environmental responsibilities are met
About You
- Proven sales experience, ideally in an on-premise or field-based FMCG role
- Background in hospitality (e.g., bar manager, café manager) considered advantageous
- Strong hunter mentality with confidence in cold calling and new business development
- Resilient, curious and commercially minded, with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Current driver's licence and RSA required
- Ideally living within or near the Western Sydney territory for local knowledge and efficiency
