**About the Role**:
For the VF Brands Marketing Lead, everything begins and ends with the consumer. The Marketing Lead plays a key role in building meaningful brand connections and driving commercial impact through compelling, integrated marketing strategies across ANZ.
This role will lead the marketing execution and direction for Timberland and Dickies, executing their respective global brand directions into powerful campaigns tailored to the Australian and New Zealand markets. From seasonal storytelling to community activations, this role ensures the brands show up with relevance and consistency across all consumer touchpoints. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with, Digital, Retail, Wholesale and Product teams, the Marketing Lead is responsible for delivering growth, brand heat and long-term equity.
**Your key responsibilities will include the following**:
Brand Strategy & Planning
- Own the annual marketing calendar and seasonal GTM plans for Timberland and Dickies.
- Localise global brand direction, aligning to regional commercial priorities and consumer trends.
Campaign Execution
- Lead the execution of all brand campaigns across digital, social, PR, influencer, and retail channels working alongside the DTC Store Experience team.
- Manage agency partners and internal teams to deliver 360° campaigns on time and within budget.
- Deliver creative, innovative ideas that elevate the brand experience and drive consumer engagement.
Community & Activations
- Drive local relevance through brand activations, events, and partnerships that connect with target communities.
- Build grassroots energy through collaborations with athletes, artists, creators, and KOL’s.
Content & Digital
- Oversee content creation and execution of campaign shoots, social-first storytelling, and brand assets.
- Ensure the digital footprint of Timberland and Dickies aligns with global brand standards.
Reporting
- Track performance of campaigns and initiatives, providing insights to optimise future plans.
- Deliver post-campaign reporting with clear ROI metrics and learnings.
**To be successful you will ideally have the following**:
- 3+ years experience in marketing, ideally within footwear, apparel or lifestyle brands.
- Proven experience developing and executing integrated brand campaigns.
- Strong storytelling ability and understanding of cultural marketing.
- Experience in Social media content, management and reporting.
- Experience in marketing performance metrics.
- Highly organised with ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a passion for brand-building.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with the outdoor, workwear, skate and streetwear markets a plus.
