We are looking for a talented and dynamic_ _Health, Safety & Wellbeing Specialist to join the People and Culture team at our Chatswood office.

**The Opportunity**

The Health, Safety & Wellbeing Specialist will lead and implement health and safety initiatives and create a standardised HSW Framework for the orgnaisation. You will perform a key business partnering role to develop and implement the health, safety & wellbeing (HSW) strategy to instill a culture of safety & awareness, health & wellbeing, injury prevention and rehabilitation.

You will spend time in our sites across Australia and continuously seek to improve safety performance and identify opportunities for wellness by leveraging your HSW expertise, strategic thinking and implementation capabilities.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead the implementation of targeted safety and wellbeing initiatives and develop a standardised HSW framework
- Coach and mentor business leaders within the area of HSW and develop solutions to improve HSW performance
- Develop injury prevention and health and wellness programs
- Manage Return to Work programs to ensure best practices and procedures are in place for injured workers to return to pre-injury duties
- Analyse data and insights to enable continuous improvement and best practice HSW management
- Ensure and maintain legislative and regulatory compliance for all sites and analyse emerging trends to anticipate and manage safety and wellbeing risks

**What sets you apart from the rest?**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in health, safety and wellbeing with a proven track record in delivering effective HSW performance results (Exposure to a large and geographically dispersed organisation is preferable)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative relationships and influence across a broad range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated capability in coaching leaders and frontline workers to build knowledge and understanding of relevant health, safety and wellbeing requirements
- Excellent understanding of HSW and change management principles
- Innovative and entrepreneurial with a continuous improvement mindset
- A pragmatic approach to solving problems with the ability to drive and support transformational change
- Ability to travel interstate as required
