Our client is a Top Tier piling and deep foundation company who is looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join their team.

**Responsibilities**:
As the H&S Manager on this project, your responsibilities may include:

- Managing HSEQ policy for the client on a national basis, including managing the HSEQ Team
- Comprise a management plan and oversee its implementation
- Ensuring all HSEQ site tasks are being delivered and providing advice on risks and controls
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, and regulatory and legislative requirements for Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality
- Working onsite to provide guidance and advice and review method statements and risk assessments
- Producing H&S statistics twice a month
- Working with supervisors who are part of the OHS system
- Engaging in challenging conversations with the client and/or own staff within H&S
- Conducting routine audits and instigating investigations where necessary

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification or relative certification
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- An in-depth understanding of the legislation and law pertaining to H&S
- Experience working for a top tier contractor as H&S Advisor, Senior H&S Advisor or similar
- Ability to travel interstate once per quarter
- Strong ability to build strong, team relationships both internally and externally
- Interpersonal skills to facilitate difficult conversations with staff and clients
