
Medical Receptionist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working receptionist that is reliable and flexible with hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Front desk administration (answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments)
- Liaise with patients and their families, GPs, other health professionals and their staff in a compassionate manner
- Scanning and updating all patient-related correspondence and results
- All general reception, administrative and medical support duties as required
- Provide ongoing support to GP and practice nurse as required
- Be a friendly point of contact between patients and the internal clinical team
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Training will be provided on the job
Skills needed:
- Strong Customer Service Skills with an ability to work in a faced paced environment
- Close attention to detail
- Confident in the use of technology
- Show initiative and work productively within a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties
- Exceptional time management skills
- Establish and maintain a great rapport with patients and colleagues.
- English & Vietnamese speaker (required)
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
COVID-19 considerations:
Patients are advised to wear masks, hand sanitiser available, seats adhere to social distancing rules, surfaces disinfected regularly, front desk staff & GPs wear masks
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Canley Heights, NSW 2166: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (required)
- Vietnamese (required)
