We are seeking a medical receptionist to work in a casual role at Ladywood Clinic and at times a fill in at our other clinic Dernancourt Medical Centre

This position is suited to someone who is interested in working flexible shifts including early morning weekdays, weekends, evenings and able to cover staff sick leave and annual leave as required.

**Duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Greeting, triaging, and confirming patient details on arrival
- Receiving phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Providing administration support to all doctors and colleagues
- Scanning, filing, and faxing of documents
- Processing accounts via Best Practice and Tyro
- Updating and maintaining patient profiles
- Handling patient enquiries

**Pre-Requisites for the position**:

- Experience, but not essential, working in a medical practice as a receptionist and able to utilise medical software (preferably Best Practice)
- Positive attitude towards colleagues and patients is essential
- Must have an excellent work ethic
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of computer literacy in Word Excel and Outlook
- Reliable, motivated, and pro-active
