**About Us**
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.
The Primary Care and Community Health Unit consists of 9 centres that provide a range of services for children, young people and their families, adults, older people and their carers. Our services range from health promotion, prevention and early detection through to assessment, treatment and continuing care. Our staff work in partnership with schools, GPs, hospitals, non-government agencies and other organisations to provide care across our centres, in people’s homes, other community venues as well as virtual care (telehealth).
An opportunity is now available for an Administration Officer to join the Primary Care and Community Health Unit, located at our Lemongrove Campus.
The role of the Administrator is responsible for the provision of Administrative and Clerical services supporting efficient and effective delivery of Home Support Assessments by their Regional Assessment Service including updating the central client record with key service events and initiating client reassessments as and when required.

**What you will bring to the role**:
- Understanding of and/or experience in the health and aged care service sectors desirable.
- Previous experience in waitlist management and booking systems.
- Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills with capacity to learn and use electronic reporting systems.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Current NSW State drivers licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
