Melbourne, Australia Chubb INA Holdings Inc. Full time

Chubb is the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer. With operations in 54 countries, Chubb provides commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance to a diverse group of clients.

Chubb Australia is currently experiencing a period of accelerated growth, and as we continue to excel and make our mark in the local market, we are looking for high potential individuals to join our dynamic and fast paced team.

Your Role

This is a varied and wide-ranging role within the Independent Broking Unit, which will give the employee access to a broad range of different customer, business, finance and marketing activities.

The role forms a critical part of Chubb Australia’s SME and Middle Market segment. You will be a ‘go-to’ person at Chubb, with responsibility for the development and execution of relevant distribution strategies.

You will be a highly presentable ‘people person’, with an appetite for building close strategic relationships across a range of executives and brokers in your broker panel. You will work closely with the State Manager, National Distribution team and functional business units, to shape “Go-to-Market” strategies.

To be successful in the role, you will be an all-rounder, with experience of working in a corporate environment; ideally financial, professional or insurance services. You should feel comfortable working for a global company and collaborating internationally, particularly with US and Asia Pacific given the accelerated growth plans in place and monitored by Chubb Overseas General.

The position is based in our Melbourne office. This role is ideal for a key account manager or business development manager, who is seeking to broaden their skills and experience across a broad-spectrum of disciplines.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Relationship Management - In conjunction with the broader Distribution team across VIC, you will develop and deliver a detailed engagement plan for all nominated Brokers; to understand and align business priorities and our joint marketing opportunities.

Strategic Planning - in conjunction with the State Manager and National Distribution team, you will develop and execute a Key Account Plan for each nominated Broker, which will provide the platform to deliver profitable, accelerated GWP growth in the SME and Middle Market segments; aligned to the Chubb Australia growth strategy.

**Qualifications**:
Your Skills & Experience

Commercially aware, with a clear customer focus.

Excellent planning, project management and communication skills.

Exercise initiative and act proactively to drive and manage a range of distribution initiatives.

A self-starter, capable of working in a team or independently.

Able to travel to metropolitan and regional areas for broker engagements, Professional Development days and broker conferences, as required.

At least five years’ experience across a broad range of Insurance products and services and/or marketing and communications, ideally in financial and professional services.

Chubb is committed to equal employment and celebrates individual differences by creating a workplace environment in which everyone feels welcomed, respected and valued. We offer you the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and agile environment where continuous development is encouraged throughout your career, both locally and globally. Some additional benefits offered include a flexible working approach via our “My One Thing” initiative, education assistance, dress for your day every Friday, promotion of health and wellbeing (including discounted health insurance, daily breakfast and fresh fruit), and the option to enrol into the Chubb Limited discounted stock purchasing scheme.
