**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**

As our State Distribution Manager for WA, you will be based in Canning Vale, reporting to and working closely with the Head of Distribution & Transport who is based in Sydney. You will safely and effectively manage the delivery of operational excellence for the WA State Distribution Centre.

In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership and direction to drive continuous improvements across safety, service and productivity across WA. You will lead and mentor the warehousing team to success by providing exceptional customer service to our internal and external stakeholders and by achieving financial targets and KPIs.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Instilling a strong safety culture with positive safety outcomes and ongoing safety improvements
- Maximising efficiencies through the effective management of labour planning, agency labour, overtime and absenteeism
- Leading and mentoring a team of over 150 warehousing and embellishment employees to success
- Achieving service level targets whilst ensuring our customers are receiving their orders on time, in full and with a key focus on accuracy
- Driving operational excellence and efficiency in a complex distribution centre, clothing warehousing and embellishment operation

To be successful, you will have:

- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the management of large, complex and fast-moving operations and warehousing environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management with a passion for service and a focus on customer relations and team engagement
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with ability to inspire and engage others
- Excellent time-management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Keen attention-to-detail and experience with improving budgets and productivity outcomes
- A degree qualification in a related discipline with a focus on business, supply chain, operations and/or warehousing
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including creating and presenting data in Excel and PowerPoint
